PANEER PULAO

Ingredients
- 1 cup Basmati rice
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon green chilli paste
- 3 tablespoons tomato puree
- 1 cup paneer cubes
- 3 tablespoons curds
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoons chopped coriander
- a pinch sugar
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 teaspoon oil
- salt to taste
Method
Step 1
Wash the rice and keep aside.
Step 2
Put 2 cups of water to boil.
Step 3
Heat the butter and oil in a pressure cooker, add the onion, ginger, garlic and green chilli paste and stir for a few seconds.
Step 4
Then add the tomato puree and paneer cubes and cook for some time.
Step 5
Finally, add the rice, curds, garam masala, coriander, sugar, 2 cups of hot water and salt and pressure cook for 1 whistle.
Step 6
Allow the steam to escape before opening.
Step 7
Serve hot.
