- a little grated paneer (optional)

- salt to taste
- ghee for cooking or oil for deep frying

- 1 teaspoon kalonji (onion seeds)
- 1 teaspoon aniseed
- 2 green chillies
- 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander
